When Troubles Come

Yesterdays years have come and gone,
along with the love we once shared.
Together I thought we would always be,
for I thought you really cared

I sit here, thinking about those days,
when our love was brand new.
There was no place I wanted to be,
than right there with you.

You told me I would never make it,
if I was to live, out on my own.
You seemed to have forgotten,
before you, I was living alone.

True, there has been many struggles.
There is one thing I do not do.
I never to give up, when troubles come.
Because, I know I will make it through.

spiritual but sad feel to this; I instantly thought of God and how he helps us through all we deal with--the good and the bad.

Hi Sue!! It's so good to see you. And I love this wonderful poem!! It is so positive and shows how strong you really are, my friend. And yes, you will make it through because of that strength you have within yourself.
