Like Breathe Upon My Skin Being so close in thoughts Those times I felt lonely Lots of desires expressed When we whispered if only I had embraced every word Wishing they were here Counting those thoughts The phone close to my ear Whenever I heard his voice Touching across the line Like breathe upon my skin I felt tingles down my spine The longing in conversation Words spoken intimately Communicating by phone Lovingly caressing blissfully Like the miles did not exist Love spoke with affection The intimate times we had In long distance connection Hope ©2005 With music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/92/poem_762687.html |
