not another tear
shall be shed~
nor a drop
of pain
from hearts
that bled~
as spirits wings
chase whispers
of sin~
a soul
comes out of hiding
not allowing
darkness to come within~
as sorrow
surrounds me
this night~
his hand
holds mine
real tight~
for another moment
in time~
another heart breaks
leaving only words
of pain
written in rhyme~
yet
a touch
of his hand
and his presence
in sight~
God
tells us
everything shall
be alright~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
