Silently falls eventide, across wide Kansas plain, From Hutchinson to Elkhart, 'cross ranch and farmer's lane, Gone the bustle of the day, as heaven ope's her eyes, With Venus leading forth her flock, to light up welkin skies, Reflections on land's scape below, with come of eve's unfold, Revealing for all earth to view, crown jewels of night's behold, I stand below in silent awe, gaze up to firmament, A man alone on a Kansas plain, beneath the night resplendent. Hear you not of evening's call, sound forth on winds so light, They touch with softness of a kiss, sweet whispers of the night. |

Ah, Sir... you've traveled, I am sure... by plane and across from NY to CA... and you have seen the quilt bewitched by various lights below... but these lands will never match the ultimate of a night's sky at Eventide.... Thank you. |

A man alone on a Kansas plain, beneath the night resplendent. Hear you not of evening's call, sound forth on winds so light, They touch with softness of a kiss, sweet whispers of the night. this sounds and feels like a peaceful whisper within...a glory in it's own kind, and you sir, are blessed beyond compare. Astounding verse |
