Subliminal The heat that radiates the rose Brought by scent It glistens far into the afterglow As dawn reveals herself In thoughts that quicken pulse Illuminate the dalliance of hope And heart To matter from a theme of dream By making way of wild things Found tame and vibrant Giving dimension and range In deeper connections let linger As mist upon the eyes So sweet The hand remembers form and texture Truly to be one Yet this is what exceeds the rhyme Completes design A chord of fire to crescendo Left as gift to Eden From the soul to bloom As love Copyright Kkh 07/04/05 |
