Now and then interest is lost one retreats from the spoken word to go back to the provincial capital wait and see if reverse migration occurs will old town blocks comfort the newly annointed city dweller? he came to build scenarios downtown laid townspeople aside for boulevard friendships Interest was gained an ego was stroked big city skyline maimed its atmosphere choked. Older relationship fallen aside newer ones budded from the inside older interests waned the foliage of old friendship wearied one retreated from being used friends strung along for sure abuse money governed an ego's pursuit no place lay for thoughtful gestures there wouldn't have been a connection if there wasn't capital gain in interest free gift but friendly interest are lost now that connection retreats into a businesslike world even if the city accepts his kind its welcome goes unfelt... provincial humor eaten up alive in an anonymous city where eyes won't easily meet; how could this sheltered man survive of those random ships that met at night some collided others parted in separate flights... interest was gained an ego was stroked big city skyline maimed its atmosphere choked. whoa, there's a lot happening in this write. It's good to read you, for you always offer a complex yet simple snapshot of life. |

quote: this was such a neat thought. "reverse migration"~maybe some day we'll find this term in our geography textbooks and so we'll remember you as one who was ahead of our time |

one comes from a small town in Ontario and sets a niche in Quebec..among French Canadians... here the small town anglophone wanted to find the comforts of the small town and is learning the hardway, one can't expect... |
