I miss you poem,
Where did you go?
I wish I knew,
But I don’t know.
You were right here,
Or so I thought,
Here in my mind,
But now you’re not,
You’ve done run off,
I don’t know why,
And now you’re gone,
Oh well, good-bye.

Addendum:

I have looked high,
I have looked low,
I still don't know
Where you did go.
Perhaps you left
To watch TV
And did not feel,
A need to tell me.
Or maybe you,
just took a trip,
A short vacation,
by plane or ship,
I guess that I
will never know,
where it is
that you did go.

Addendum to addendum:

Have you seen my poem,
She's up and ran away,
I know she's not off working,
She really likes to play.
If per chance you see her,
Tell her I'm quite sad,
And if she will come back to me,
I promise to not be mad.
Tell her that I miss her,
I need her flowing rhyme,
Without her bubbly meter,
I'm blue most of the time.

I have to tell you that this had a "Cat In The Hat" feel to it

Did you check under the secretary's desk? Or maybe in the facilities on the next floor up?
She might have got stuck in the fridge while looking for a snack. Possiblly at the neighbours house having a visit?

I hope you find her soon. I know the feeling of desparation when the pen dries up and the peom runs away.
