Sparing in the ring of day
Barbs of wire tear away
As a punch does come I veer
Bleeding then from barb too near

Finding that I can not leave
Though I spar with constant weave
No one holds the wires wide
Cos no ones on the other side

The bell does sound, another round
Dizzy from the constant pound
Quick repair to fight again
Such the life of many men

In the corner means a rest
Victors fight the very best
Cuts and scars are commonplace
Living in the human race

The wires leave no gap to dream
Only flesh of fighters been
So I rest to fight again
As I must, as other men

these seems...

Truth be told, I did get two distinct sets of thought, and feel that I understood both. And we live to fight another day...
