Beauty fades from life

when human rights are ignored

and love is lacking

Oh, Margherita!  This couldn't be said or shown better.  The daisy with the two petals fallen off -- just the perfect touch to your meaningful words.   ...jo

Here is what I see here...

The two petals dropping from the daisy are tears...perhaps it is about to be stomped on by a bulldozer foot?...

But there is something else here, like people who are trampled, yet survive...in the center of the flower are seeds, and this is why the flower will endure...by the power of new growth..At the center of this tiny poem are also seeds, by heeding its messege, the human race will also survive and grow..

Thank you dear Jo and dear Ford. The interpretation you give, dear Ford, is very beautiful, you expressed what was inexpressed, yet intrinsically woven into the message.

Love,
