Great within the wall behind China dishes,
Hides a hidden room and a soul's
Unvoiced wishes.

There resides the man
Who knows a writer’s every trick;
For twenty years he studies,
But of merit, thinks that he's been licked.

He shouts at ME through the wall
That I must write, and so must he;
Then, flattening silence.

       I feel he disappears,
          skirts away his All.
       Master bricks away his thoughts
       Hidden behind old China wall.

Captivating read, C.  I am very curious as to who the master is?  Great write!  I'll be up for awhile if you want to call.   ...jo

Thanks, Jo.  The master writer hasn't written his masterpiece, yet.  Has written and re-written short stories hundreds of times, but hasn't written what he is meant to write.  It is there, but too painful for him to put it down.  I shan't say anything more.

Ms. Celania

Hmmmm, My imagination recalled a chapter in a Castenada book, Don Juan was teaching Carlos a lesson...

But my guess is that this is about a muse of yours, who will not release his magic through your words...

If either guess is wrong, it doesn't matter, I still enjoyed the poem....

Dear Misc, I think this is truly one of your best, it gives goosebumps, because there is so much truth, pain, hope, trust ...

what needs to be done, has to be done!

Extremely captivating!

Love,

So it is indeed a mystery! But miscie always was mysterious. Fun read.

Miscellanea~

This struck me poignantly -

'a soul's
Unvoiced wishes.'

Ah, Misc'e...

T'what, t'whom does it matter,
other than to you,
the hearer of voices,
the bearer of clues...

as long as the poetry's writ...

and then placed before our view...

so that we may sit...

before the china in its closet, with you.

I appreciate all of your responses.  Some may think it is a muse; I think it is a very special author who has never published what is dearest to his heart. In any case, this was written about him, whether muse or not.

May we continue to express!

Thanks again,
misce
