Inside The Mind of Others… Everyday is clay in the hands of the word player Visions as seen from the eyes of chosen souls When unhappiness strolls within waking fears… What other reason bids a pen to strike forth timidly All to confide in one’s humility? How ironic this passion we bleed onto parchment--- It soaks deeply into sleeping hearts, Awakening that which is ancient and void of tears… To share such sacred pain, We hold so dear for purpose and breath, Is in itself an unending therapy ladder for others; If only we could construct invisible rungs, To quietly descend down this ladder of infinite possibilities, Then we writers and self-proclaimed philosophers, Will all have the courage to release our grasp of understanding--- Of understanding the misunderstanding of others, And together holding hands as one, We will fall slowly through our combined thoughts, Landing softly on porous heads, Laughing as we bleed slowly into dreams and nothingness, Sinking into the depths of a depressing solitude, Never hearing those silent snickers, Of others who secretly wish to be us….. I think you did a wonderful job with this one, Marcel! Can't decide which lines to quote ... they all are quite special. Love, Margherita |
