Upon Lifes Journey I Proceed

Perhaps you will be catching up
Somewhere along the track
Then again I could be wrong
Maybe you will never come back

Upon lifes journey I shall proceed
Perhaps I will hear from you
Whilst I will think of you often
Writing will be helping me through

I shall make every moment count
Because time quickly flies by
I will pour emotions into rhyme
Since we have never said goodbye

Stepping forth In the year ahead
As always one day at a time
If you do happen to remember
You can still call on me at anytime

The mind bangs doors and the heart opens them. And you see, I think an open heart will pay dividends in the end. Sometimes we need a friend to teach us about love and when their job is done, we're left with something very valuable. We still cry but we shouldn't really.
