As we go into another year May it to you, good happenings bring With joy, peace, and plenty of love Things that make a happy heart sing May the turmoil in this world cease As so much, with hatred, is brought Where jealousy, greed, and unhappiness abide When one's own personal gain is sought And may enemies see there is no peace When strife and hardship is left to breed Knowing the cost is too high a price To win by leaving a hating heart's seed May friends be closer than ever before Holding each other up through trouble and trial The stronger helping the weak in time of need Hand in hand as walking mile after mile Then though around us trouble may brew Peace will abide within our heart Then we will be happy and elated Knowing in sowing joy, we had a part |
