Dreams Of Spring By Paul Wilson Dragonfly’s dance upon waters rush to mountains edge and cascade of fall Dove’s sing sadly from weeping willow limbs as lazy days of Summer’s past I recall Today is one of those special days we are given every now and then A time to remember what we choose or maybe a moment of pretend Slumber’s gentle touch overcomes me and I begin to dream of you dear Chariots of white floating in sky carry me back to when you were here Time spent together in shade of trees wrapped in each others arms all day long Watching dragonfly’s dance on waters edge and listening to dove’s sing their love song Chill of night’s gentle touch just begun awakens me from never land of dreams Stars luminescent glow touches stream where dragonfly’s dance with moon beams Dove’s sing their song of love to mate at dusk from limbs of willow blowing in breeze Teardrops fall into darkness of night from eyes into stream and no one sees ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

Paul I hope that spring comes early for you this year! Dragonflies are one of my favorite creatures, as are doves! So, loved this poem! Happy New Year! |
