Hood on a stick I bury to avoid the crook I am I dream of power I dream of death And redemption From sins I don’t want to think about From problems I didn’t know I caused Hiding beneath the sun I feel content With the night Comes my power My feeling of glory My desires of achievement I am taking life One day at a time To return To begin Again When I saw the sun Kiss you On a summer's morn The moonlight kissed you On the day that you were born When I saw that look in your eyes A kind of crimson mess The swirl of the world |
