My Dream Lover

I see his face in the night,
the haunting spectre of my dreams.

The man who comes to my sleep,
tempting me into his waiting arms..

His quiet spirit creeps within my mind,
dancing wildly behind my eyes..

He spends the night with me'
with sensous kisses and warm embraces..

Until at last as dawn is breaking,
he bids me farewell..

He takes my hand to his soft lips,
"Farewell says he until tonight, for I shall return"

The day is empty and oh, so long,
until at last I rest upon my bed..

Once agian I see his face..
my dream, my lover has returned..
