Forever In Your Heart

The music plays,
my thoughts dance,
to a different time,
when you and I shared,
conversations and laughter,

I remember the joy of seeing,
what a new day held in store
for me,

each day was even better
than before,
one memory plays strongly
in my mind, was the time,
loves definition came alive,

Reading the card with music
and words, tears flowed down
my cheeks, consumed with joy,

"Come Away With me"
Oh , how I wished I could,
run away with you in our world,

Life moves so quickly,
its gone before we know it,
what will be left to show,
what we have lived and died
for?

LOVE? I want to live knowing,
I am loved, and die knowing,
you loved me, unconditionally,

Love made my chest hurt,
love made me cry, with joy,
love is and will be by my side
when I die,

You brought love to me,
flowers everyday, hand picked,
and i love you for knowing,
how to love me,

I love you for giving love life,
into this weary old heart of mine.
Love like that can never be forgotton,
so that is why,
I remember.

Not sure about the "weary old heart" bit...if others had such a passionate heart as you, the worlds problems would desolve and melt into the sea of human kindness...the other parts of the poem are just beautiful..thank you..
