In a jungle
His knuckles
Until then
On the ground

An ape
For a moment rises up
To colors made somehow beautiful
Filtering upon his brain

And pray how then
Can one go back
To what crude peace he had

Being now more
Than he was before

Though all around him disregard
The light
He saw and shared

Impressive work...

"For a moment rises up
