She lies there alone Scared Crying for her Daddy Who didn't come home This afternoon She's hungry again Lunch a scrap of cheese Found along the street As she wandered Going deeper into her jungle Finding her way back Into her world The box down the alleyway Knowing he'll be there soon Sleeps fitfully And dreams on Hugging her only friend Her tattered bear On her concrete mattress htp://www.mysticwicks.com (try the after dark section) |
