The Fire of Dust

Rubbing phantoms of engage
A single spark ignites its clime
Starts a fire on this stage
Within the bellowed winds of time

Damn the fires graze of hell
Damn the feelings of insane
Damn the sulfur and its smell
And damn the acids of the pain

Glowing in an awesome bright
It shades the moon to utter gloom
Scorching all within its sight
Spilling ashes in the room

Shadowing the sun with clouds
Sewing webs of dreary dark
Placing veils of seven shrouds
Setting stone to set the mark

Rubbing phantoms frictions key
With cinders of the former me

I wonder 'bout you sometimes.

Mr. T., I know that whenever you write of the doom and gloom of the moon, you will soon be writing again of golden fun in the sun! You write equally well of both sides, my sweet sonneteering yin/yang!

Who could help but love such a multi-faceted enigma!

May 2006 be a year of improved health, happiness and peace of mind!

If we can't know the dark, we can't know the light but sometimes if would be nice to remain ignorant.  Enjoyed the read.  Thanks.
