From Darkness a Light The most tragic of years brought about anguish and tears And yet out of the darkness a light shined from all borders Race, creed, matters not All our differences we have forgot For we are brothers and sisters In the eyes of our Lord Only a nation such as ours has the ability with all our powers to rise above the water and mud and build back cities with love Come we have opened our hearts and homes Giving to those who have lost all but hope Take my hand let me be the one to share my light |

Loved the sentiment in your poem, if only all the nations in all the world could live that way. silverwind |
