once upon a time
there was a mouse
that ran freely throughout our house
momma tried to stomp him
but he always outsmarted her
and now i am wondering
did his genes get mixed up
in the laundry basket of life?

it seems as if some researchers
have finally gotten themselves caught
in their own mis-guided traps
and put some human brain cells
into a poor little mouse
and next thing you know,
Mick will want a drivers license
and an allowance
and a say-so in
the 'what's for dinner?' chorus

excuse me please
but i am in the audience of thinkers
that thinks this is
an issue of insanity
as regards the unreasonable
crossing of all boundaries
by medical research

but now...
what if?
they could grow these brains
and then transplant them
into some politicians
and other assorted braindeads

would there be peace
for mice and men?

A well-inspired chuckle for this great look at how we might improve humanity.  Once again, you provide a great take on life, Kacy, don't ever stop.  Ken

Thanks, Kelly gal! Happy to provide a grin any day, especially when at the expense of the so-called higher echelons of intelligent life.

I think the mouse's circulatory system will give up on feeding the human brain cells before that ever happens...hehe
