Too Much To Ask |

Finding love, Finding soul, Please help me, Is it too much to ask? All I can do is dream, Dream that one day I find you. I don’t know where, I don’t know When, All I know is I can’t wait for that joyous day. I look forward to being wrapped in your arms, Staying up until dawn talking, Laughing with you, Being with you through the good and bad, To hear you say, I love you. Maybe it’s too much to expect, Too much to want, Too much to need, Is it just too much to ask? Life is a gift so live it to the fullest! |

There isn't anything, I believe, that is "too much", but that ol' patience is a stinker to find. Nice read. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

Encouragement is nice to hear but when you feel you're on a bucking horse, the horse doesn't care what you heard. Here are some thoughts you might enjoy. One is mine, the second is from Madame Curie, a Polish woman scientist who did volumes of work on what we now take for granted, the every day x-ray. The last is from Patrick Overton, an Oregon writer/poet. /pip/Forum93/HTML/001426.html "Life is not eas for any of us. But what of that? we must have perseverance and, above all, confidence in ourselves. We must beleve that we are gifted for something, and that this thing...must be attained." - Madame Marie Curie "When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen.... There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly." -Patrick Overton I think these all say the same thing, sort of. Whatever we ask of life, it must begin with faith in ourselves, however elusive that sometimes seems. Hope I didn't drag all this out. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light |

It takes time to find someone worth taking the time to find, but it's worth every minute. Or so I'm told. LOL. And it's never too much to ask for real love, though that doesn't guarantee we shall find it. That's what so much great LOVE poetry is all about, so we don't want EVERYONE finding it too quickly, right? |
