Not in September, May, or June, but in the time of mystic views the world begat another earth and called it My Rebirth. And My Rebirth bedecked in skin ran upward to the height of sin and jumped the hurdles one by one until the damage done. Lo and behold the rain of pain seeped through her window pane and flooded her foundations out with water of “what’s life about”. Silent were the days, months, years, and if they spoke, she couldn’t hear till thunder in the sky above said, “Maybe you need love”. And so the signs and symbols, you, appeared on horizons new and joined the spirit/flesh as one until the damage done. My Rebirth no longer new changed her name to What’s The Use because water of “what’s life about” left her like a child in pout. What’s The Use sits silent, grave, debating now a different name but Waste of Time will come to call before she’s finished all her chores … and so she’s going, going, gone long before the battles won! Helen / 12 December 2005 - It always helps to write a little ditty. |

Thanks, Martie and Sunshine. And so it seems that even a little ditty has it's purpose and reason for being. Isn't life amazing? ![]() |

Loved your naming those stages, and what a great poem. Made me quit pouting, too! Helen, I had a bit of a breakthrough a couple of weeks ago. It forced me to realize that when we come back (if you embrace reincarnation), we do not come back in the same role...perhaps with the same souls, but not the same role...in other words, "I am him (from then) and he is me (from then)." Now, I wonder what would happen if he realized it! Would love your feedback on that one. ![]() |

Thank you, Marsha, for the read. Jo - I do most decidedly believe in reincarnation and we do take on other forms on "re-entry" in order to know and experience but this is our choice. I think that if you were a man in a past life, you would carry what you've learnt and how you've learnt to be into your next life and you would exhibit male tendencies in some way or other. There are some highly aggressive women in the world and an equal number of "sensitive" men. It's therefore a question of knowing yourself - self-discovery. So, if you know you are totally female in and out then I would say there was love between the two of you because love is the string that binds our souls. Perhaps the one who knows this is the one who needs to know in order to overcome what life has thrown at them. "Soul" is the essence of who we are - soul love is forever no matter what or where. There is no other really worthwhile love. All the other is merely "experience" but that experience also plays a supporting role in future lifetimes. It all depends on depth of feeling. We can feel a connection to various people during the course of a life but love goes so very much deeper. It is so very hard to live in the knowing of this love even though one also can know that a lifetime is but a moment. I wish I knew everything but as we learn and experience so we eventually come to the truth - with the emphasis on "eventually". Take care, Jo, and have a happy festive season. Don't ever give up on a "dream"! ![]() Helen |
