A snow white Christmas, I would love to see
With the ground covered in snow flakes pure white
In Florida, 'tis a rare sight to be
A snow white Christmas, I would love to see
In a Winter Wonderland, you and me
Hearing carols sung under lights so bright
A snow white Christmas, I would love to see
With the ground covered in snow flakes pure white

Thanks, MGroves

LOL Thank you, Karilea, for the drift LOL

Michele, that's what my daughter says. She said
it's pretty when you're looking out the window
and it's coming down, but then  they start having
to melt it down on the roads and shovel it on the
walk and it isn't pretty anymore.

It would be nice, just for a day or two, wouldn't it, Susan? LOL

Chris Lane, if it didn't melt on the way. LOL

Lee, glad I made you forget the shoveling for a little while. LOL

Thanks ya'll for your sweet replies.
Hugs,
Ethel

Me?  I'll take a little warm weather now.

Snow for Christmas is fine with me.  But once Boxing Day is over I'd like it all to melt.

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, I hope you get your wish, dearest friend, I've heard that it's been a bit unseasonably cool in Florida the past few days, so maybe the cool front will persist and you can get a little snow, yay, here's hoping your winter wonderland blooms, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Glad you like the snow but after 25 years of living in God's country Upstate NY, you can have the snow. I shoveled enough of the that white ....... ( you fill in the blanks).Nice thoughts though in your work. Happy Holidays from the bklynboy now living in usually sunny Florida.

aww Ethel?

All you have to do is come HERE.

*grin*

for about 6 months . . .

*laughing*

(Can I have your sun for a bit, then?)

Please?

It does look beautiful though, like a Christmas card.

It falls at night, billowy and silent and you just feel "safe"  . . .

and then it turns 8 degrees . . .
