It Brought Me Much Happiness

I shall remember you always
As someone I thought a friend
Usually this time of the year
Its gifts and cards I would send

I had thought of seasons past
The greetings I used to express
Apparently since you moved
I was not given the new address

I shall continue to think of you
Especially on this festive season
Greetings shared I remember
A friendship had given me reason

I would always continue giving
Because it's what I wanted to do
It brought me much happiness
When I sent all those gifts to you
