Last Kiss

I didn't know it would
be the last kiss.
It didn't seem that much
different when she placed
it upon my eager lips.
But I think she already knew,
it was the last kiss, and
for reasons known only to her,
she chose not to tell me the
reasons why, from this kiss
forward, our love would have
no other choice, than to die.

So very sad were your words James, but I bet there are plenty more kisses to be had just around the corner.

Take care........Sue
