C'mon share your pictures of winter with us all at Passions,
as some never get to even see the snow and it's absolutely beautiful!
Hey Ron!  I heard that!

Ah Sharon!  Your snow is much prettier out there.
We had some, it melted..but more on the way.

Here's the youngest granddaughter in her first snow a week ago.

"What do you mean, don't forget your boots?!"

Here ya go Sharon. Meeka loves the snow, which is strange for her breed. But, at least I have someone who shares my love for red sweaters! hugs, Chrislane

Love all of your photo's, but being as animal-batty as I am, Meeka stole my heart and had me going oh! oh! oh!  Nightshade, do you call the breed Maltese poodle there (USA?)?  We do here in South Africa.  My Daisy is a white Maltese Poodle and my Tigger is a tabby cat and they won't grow up and leave home and get married the way my daughter and son did (not that I begrudge them that)!  Please give Meeka lots of hugs and kisses and tell her that Owl adores her and that she is sooooo beautiful in her red sweater.

Those are great additions - get those cameras clicking!

bgi - Go to photobucket.com and set yourself up there, and upload your pictures on that site.  There will be a link to use to show your graphics on this site exactly as they show it to you.

Thanks Sharon.  That pic is not today, but another time.  There is no snow on the mountains today.  But at 67 degrees, it's a bit chilly for me!

I've only experienced snow in South Africa on two occasions and they were both very happy days.  The first time caused a literal work stoppage and united us all in the most wonderful way - smiles wherever one looked.  The second time we actually managed to build a snowman - brrr. but a lot of fun.  All in all, however, I think I prefer the sun. Babies and dogs in the snow - so lovable! Thanks for a look at winter as I swelter in the heat!

I'm afraid my digital camera is no longer with me ... so I'll have to just sit back and enjoy all the beautiful pictures!

We had a half a foot of snow a few days ago to the point that we had to shovel our driveways. Some warm temperatures and rain melted it all since then, but as Enchantress said ... there is more on the way to Ontario tonight, tomorrow, the next day ...

Ready NancyLee and Chris? Ready Ron? LOL!

Wonderful thread, Sharon!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

My hickory woods looks different today, dismal as ship-iron, grumpy and gray...

But last week it looked much brighter, dressed in soft feathers, snow-colored and gay.

Thank you, MS teria, this was a wonderful idea....

And thank all you pipsters who posted pictures and replies...

What great photos folks!

Ice that is simply breathtaking that forest!  It could certainly grace a beautiful card no doubt about it.  I am heading out on a major walk right now with my camera in hand - so you know I will be back later         Thanks for playing in the snow with me, wish you all were here so we could make forts and throw snowballs at each other.  LOL

The sun is shining
Fat man's reclining
And there's no cause for alarm.
What does he care of snow, ice and storms?
Miami Beach will keep him warm.

The elves aren't freezin'
They've got no reason
Our winters here are not quite the norm.
Mermaid tattoos they sport on each arm..
Miami Beach will keep them warm.

Poor Rudolph's nose now
Still glows and glows now
But not to show poor Santa the way.
It got sauteed with each burning ray
Our winters here are spent that way.

You may boast
On northern coast
Of winter’s white
Coat pleasure

But if you could see
This palm’d tree
With flurries to small
To measure

Tis just a mirage
A jokers barrage
To taunt, cajole
And tease

No snow here
Not a flake my dear
Just warming
Tropical breeze

Balladeer - I can sing that!  Try it - to Let It Snow!  You are a treasure you are!

The palm trees Sharon posted sure look like they ARE covered with frost or snow, LOL, I guess it is all in how you look at it right?

I am glad you are all enjoying the thread and playing in the snow with me, it's a lot of fun to see others locations and how they look, so thank you all for taking the time to play.  Hope more pictures are posted they are fun to see.
