 ~The Lonely Of Alone~ This lonely feeling of alone Makes unhappy to me often known Sadness seems to be the tone Of late, this feel of, I am prone For holidays are here to be Where joy and happy most do see Friends and family are the key To take away this feel of lonely Yet, is the feel of alone in a crowd Where many faces are all around For there is not the special sound Of the one who makes my heart pound Though every day on the phone I hear This voice of the one I hold dear Then, those times bring to me much cheer Yet not to the place of holding near Yes, this lonely feeling of alone Makes unhappy to me often known Sadness seems to be the tone Of late, this feel of, I am prone |

I think I finally got the hang of the holiday thing - instead of dwelling on the loss of my friend at this time of year, I find a lot of laughter and joy in remembering the good years we spent, and her shannigans. It takes each person their own time and space to get to a point of celebrating a loss, rather than staying in the hurt. Lovely graphic Ethel and lovely words. To see real beauty you must look with your heart. |

 (big angel hugs) Oh Ethel, I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling lonely, dearest friend, it is an ever too common experience for many over the holiday season and my heart goes out to everyone who is coping with this living experience! the holiays can truly be hard, this I know and it is easy to be lonely when you are missing someone who is so important that your heart feels not whole without them around... write it out, maybe that makes it not so lonely, or so I hope  Pepper |
