He said to me, don’t worry son The day will pass when it is done And I’ll not judge the things you do I’ll just be there to help you through It’s not my job to live your time I’m here to give to you what’s mine To guide and show you if I can To help you be a better man And there I sat in thought a while Happy that the voice did smile To encourage and to speak When I was down and feeling weak It’s then I knew that when we pray An inner strength does come our way And although things can go wrong Together here we all belong |
