I have serious condition known as writers block
It not so much procrastination .....I just have no thoughts

I feel empty of a drive and that creative bug
I can't even write about my messed up life or lack of love

Whatever else is ailing me I’m not a hundred percent sure
I’m curious of my category and if there’s a cure

It’s like getting a fork when you really wanted a spoon
The sun you wanted so badly but only got the nights moon

But when the energy or surge hits...I’m charged
Able to write sensibly and spill out clean bars

Beautiful words expressed based on the way I feel
Shockley honest and entirely real

Empowered by this special way of letting go
Facing the truth and sharing to let everyone know

Hi my names Thkidfre' I’m new
These are my words from me to you

Hopefully I'll get over this little rock
And never ever again have writers block

Hi! Welcome aboard! I enjoyed reading the thoughts that you shared with us. They came across as open, honest, and sincere. Poetry doesn't have to have a theme or perfect form or be fancy schmancy! It is about expressing what is within you with others ~ and that you penned, perfectly! I do believe your block has been broken!

Welcome to Passions.  I hate to say it, but
there might be another time in your future
when that old demon sneaks up and bites ya.

I know,  it has me many many times,  and I
am sure it will again...

I find ready poetry of other authors (the
big ones)....helps a lot and gives my imagination
a stir.  You might try that.
