I’m still a girl chasing rainbows
And candy coated dreams
Skipping towards tomorrow
In search of all that gleams
I will never lose her
This girl with wild eyes
Believing she’ll be President
To all the world surprise
I am dancing to the rhythm.
A drum with my own beat
Singing and laughing carelessly
Cause life is oh so sweet.
If you look real close you’ll find her
Behind these eyes you’ll see
She’s laughing & crying, smiling & dancing
Brave and strong as she’ll ever be.
So excuse me for a moment
I need to take a break
The sun is shining, the day is young
Let go play for heavens sake!

This is very lovely and I agree that we must never lose contact with the little girl full of dreams and hope and energy that continues to live within our core.

Dance on!

Love,
Margherita

This reminds me of my post, The Children's Library.  I am so glad that I found it and want you to know, I applaud your attitude!
and your poem.
