you are the welcoming dirge fair winter, in your gown of sound with the noise of your knees in stride slapping the leather sides of a big boned stallion sky candy cones are your stones when the gasping winds pray when the tears of trees are rainless and there are only rivers in the yawned dawn of sandstorms and tomorrow, in your velvet you are a penniless dancer giving billow to empty skin ends as you spin your promises as topless tea pot whispers what god's will gives me strength to be the summered statue armless in my imagination and surrounded by the bathing waters of scheol's slow frozen tundra fair winter you arouse my suffocation _____________ daark [This message has been edited by Dark Stranger (11-16-2005 09:08 AM).] |

What a wonderful way to deal with a really hot summer - to write a poem to winter! I loved your images - I savoured them one by one. - Owl |
