As the sun, the human halo keeps its role
— Not to burn, or turn a passion blind —
But to guide the body and the soul
Safely through the shadows of the mind.
And as a night bids all but Love to sleep,
There in the cloistered thrall of passion's clasp...
A Man and a Woman united sweep
The universe in unifying grasp.
When love is real and pure, in its embrace
The halo dims, reverent of Love’s true
Grace, thus lending Love its radiant face —
So what is human halo’s glowing hue?
But truth and beauty born of cosmic love,
A symbol of the burning stars above.

Beautiful...perfectly beautiful.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

Bonjour!!!

Sir Castleguard,

Beauty is to be found
within your words,

The night sky is filled with love,
halos of the heavens~
as well as your heart!

Enchantress - Thank you for the kind words.

Marge - Glad to be so, thank you.

Magnus - Thank you, yet all the needed parts were collected from the pennings of wisdom from the many great poets here, for they are the inspiration.

EA -  It is your words that light up the sky, and the hearts that open up to the majesty of the Cosmos.
I respectfully insist, that you must have mistaken the glow of your own (halo)...for mine. But thank you.

PoetessFlamme - Thank you for finding beauty within my words, for my words speak from my heart.
Though 'tis true, that many hearts, as the stars, hold a hidden beauty waiting to be discovered.
