Which beats and
Resonates
Like a howling wind
Slamming a secret trap door
Which we never closed,
That which we never
Dare
Close.

I will always believe in you.
I can see what you are too
Close to recognize.
Beautiful Man,
I see the hazel of trees in your eyes
So round and polished
Like amber.
Your soul,
Which is usually tucked away,
Spills out before me
In all your glory.
You electrify the air
With greens and yellows.
Just to be close to you
Sets my soul playfully through
Our time together.

Find security in the love
I have for you.
It lies there like a ruby waiting
To be plucked from
My extended hands; it is
My gift to you.
Like father Time and mother Earth
We have fostered its existence.
