Trouble

Here I sit the edge of trouble
Waiting the burst of the bubble
Looking over the scraps of pie
And cannot think a whitecap lie

Resting on the windowsill frame
It would attract anyone’s aim
Even a dog passing by
It could have caught anyone’s eye

A Childs delight is contagious
An adults is outrageous
So now I suffer pangs of guilt
The words that will sink to the hilt

I stole a pie and ate it there
Without a thought of being fair
Within a moment wend and rend
Without a thought of end or friend

Over come by desires ramp
I’ve now become a total scamp

Was the pie a la mode Sy?  I take it you didn't save a piece for me.
