It’s literally, a Virtual Orgy”
She said,
It was one of those talk radio shows
You know the ones
Where the people are scripted
And their opinions are lengthy

I imagined her, sitting
Taut, with insecure shoulders
Nosily spouting her beliefs
Beneath religious morals, and her snooty nose

Tuning it out, I gaze
Through the window
As my ears
Catch little things about food and
Overweight kids
From the monotone hum
Buzzing,
Out of the speakers around me

My thoughts linger, momentarily wondering
About the starving in third worlds
Do they know that our kids are fat?
Do they care?
Their swollen hunger is visual
As they walk upon sticks and pray for
A McDonalds

But our kids are fat…

Ask the children why they eat

Has an entire country lost the ability to decide for itself

Hi! Welcome to PiP!

I cringe when I see the fast-food commercials after having watched news clips of starving children in other parts of the world.

It is difficult to understand the inequality of birth. Some are born with so much ~ while others are born with so little.

Warm, welcoming hugs!
EA
