Welcome newbies to our home
We hope you enjoy your stay
I’d like to issue a challenge
Harken to what I say.

We’ve many family poets
Friends for many years
They’ve written of their loves
Their passions and their fears

Seek out an older member
Send them an email note
Use one of their poem’s titles
In a poem that YOU wrote

Don’t use the title of their poem
Without their permission
Good luck in your endeavor
I look forward to your submission.

Ah this is a unique challenge Sharon!
It sure looks like fun,
and a great way for the new-comers to meet
the members who have been here awhile.

I hope a lot of our new friends jump on the bandwagon!

Love a challenge.

I dug this one up
Hope that was okay
and if you don't mind
May I use what you say...

in my response?

fun, fun!

Hmmm, maybe they don't know what a newbie is bumping for the new poets here to take your challenge - it's a great one!

Happy New Year Sharon!

I'll have a go if one of you "oldies" gives me a line.

You have to understand though I'm not very good, it may be more yeeks than Yeats.

Hey Mysteria, I just noticed you're two days 'older' than me

I am going out on a limb and taking your challenge. Now, I just need to find someone whose title I can use. Bear with me while I search.

Titia - you smartie!  I see that I am - and Hope and Maree are a day older than me   I love that!

Glad to see the newer poets picking up on the challenge and I look forward to reading each and every one.
