~ By Sue ~ In order to catch a catfish, he said you have to use a worm The thought of touching such a slimy thing just did not appeal to me, so I set out to show him, just what I could do As I baitied my hook with the fake one he just sat there laughing at me You should have seen his eyes bug out when I pulled in that big catfish He just couldn't believe his eyes 9-12-05 |

SmartChick This reminded me of a cat fish experience I had. At the end of a fishing for trout day, I left my pole dangling just a bit in the lake to go have dinner and sleep. The next morning I had a biggy cat fish. I think they will eat just about any thing. ![]() |

Enjoyed your fish tail! ~ I mean, fish "tale"! I absolutely love to go fishing! However, I haven't done so for several years. I zone out and get into a meditative state and have not a care in the world. I enjoy being in nature and I also enjoy the anticipation of catching the biggest fish in the lake! Some fish will eat anything that moves ~ or doesn't move! I caught a whitefish (it's in the sucker family like catfish and sturgeon etc.) with a french fry when I ran out of bait! ![]() Linda |

I have a photo of my husband who is almost as large as the catfish they pulled out from the river... AND.... I think my husband was about five years old at the time.... and the cat probably outweighed him by about 100 pounds... HUGE sucker! Enjoyed this, Sue! More stories, please! |
