A tear shed clear upon a crystal night. It shone bright upon a Christmas star That it still guides hearts from His birth. Oh Jesus of Bethlehem, awake the souls That sings the songs of true compassion. Let the season remember Your gift of life, Shared among all, breathing humanities blood, Uniting us in colors that makes us so human. Lord this soul is a liberal, as You are the liberator. You desegregated wealth in Your diversity of Poverty reaching in to share Your love with others, To dig deep within the truth of one’s words that One must expunge hate, deceit from one’s mind, To adore those castes offs of societies fraternities, Inviting all the people into a mass called religion. Holding hands feeling Your peace and tranquility. Oh tear of the crucifix, fall upon bare shoulders Finding the naked truth of our baptism of tears. Words of fire and brimstone of the liberal mind Looking at conservative sinners of green blood. Seeing voices who condemn as the Judge of time, Who fight for the separation of religion as white As a White House mansion from our nations past. Make grave statements on our segregated politics. Oh aborted schools of the far right, left on things Dreaming upon decay of future educational hopes. Children of evaporated fetuses given up in mass That religion exists in the poverty of the rich. Corporate abatements used to hire foreign workers. Companies as Wall Mart’s drying up moms ‘n pops Businesses, who pray for America’s salvation. Oh tear of America, one must be terminated on thought. Praying for Him to rally a dying spirit from living suicide. A suicide that lives day to day imprisoned in prayer That will never take ones live away from the miracle That was born on the conception of one’s existence. Which is celebrated on a crystal night in December Where one can pay their dues in respect of the poverty Of a Baby born to Liberate the Conservatives of the time. Note: No religion can label humanity in disrespect and live up to the words of their faith. What do I want for Christmas? A hug from the liberal heavens of faith, from the freedom and democracy of free speech America with just enough outer riches, to write from the inner wealth of creativity that can last all year. To await another dream upon a Christmas blessing, among the tears of the stars of the United States of the great diversity of thinkers, who make truth the foundation of strength. Truth, what a great gift one can make to humanity, if only politicians could practice its religion. May the liberals of the faith of the religions of the world could join together with conservatives to moderate that we bleed in one color of need for peace and tranquility. May the gift of peace be with you. D.Lester 12/14/05 © Terminated poet, somewhere in America not on company time. [email protected] poem for the ride upon America’s spirit |

AMEN! this... To dig deep within the truth of one’s words that One must expunge hate, deceit from one’s mind, To adore those castes offs of societies fraternities, Inviting all the people into a mass called religion. Holding hands feeling Your peace and tranquility. and this Oh tear of America, one must be terminated on thought. Praying for Him to rally a dying spirit from living suicide. A suicide that lives day to day imprisoned in prayer That will never take ones live away from the miracle again, AMEN and very well done |
