Leaving Me

I am disappointed in myself today,
that the tears could flow so easily again
when strength was being built
to outlast such episodes.

To become tearful "over the whelming" feelings
where organization had been
and disorder has taken its place,
when what does it really matter
in the scheme of things.

Tomorrow will come
and what will be will be
if time allows...

So I tissue away the tears,
press coolness to the swollen eyes
and let the feelings of the extreme
move on to someone else...
for now.
