(for the Professor) I am stuck today! between a whine and a wine and tiny sweet rosebuds amid some stinky roseybutts ~but still~ I smile simply because I am alive. Haven't you ever had one of those days? When it mattered not what the day brought? When you were just happy to be a part of it? And as I find myself stuck today between wine and a whine, I am happy. And even though I know this is not exactly good poetry, I still ask, does it make you smile, feel good? Have a great week.  |

"And as I find myself stuck today between wine and a whine, I am happy." The giddiness of wine cannot be felt, if there never is a whine time to compare it with... The two sides of the same coin... Odd is, that when I feel that the day is extra good, I recall a First Nation saying... "It's a good day to die" Thats when I feel extra good...it has nothing to do with hating life, as some might think...But with loving it beyond human feeling.. Haven't you ever had one of those days? When it mattered not what the day brought? When you were just happy to be a part of it? yes indeed, a stunning sense of freedom of life in it's perfection... You've captured that moment, most rare indeed  I loved this |
