There was a time
As far as you are
I would have suffered
For the gaze

To see me
However briefly
Enthralled with you
Would have brought Valkyrie
From a sky

Above from where
All law was cruel
Forged around a single sin

To be so free
As to cherish sea
The color blue . . .

Or eyes
That found my own
