Borne of Stars ~Linda L. Dowd ~
+*+*+*+*+*+ One lonely night, some years ago, I reached into a starry sky. I asked the Universe to bring me joy, And to stop sad tears I’d cry.
My eyes beheld Orion’s Gate, And while viewing Three Sisters afar, A flash of light crossed Anilam, ~ The brightest, central star.
I had a sense of wonderment, I was flooded with joy and awe. I knew that love was coming my way, ~With that shooting star, I saw.
Then into my life, the following day, Walked the man of every dream. We knew the instant that we met, ~As one, we’d flow life’s stream.
Two lone candles, once lost in winds, Became this flame of ours. That fateful night, many years ago, Our love was borne of stars. +*+*+*+*+*+

The stars hold many secrets, the least of which are the Fates of lone candles in the wind...
And some say that the stars do not impact our lives...BAH! After all - we're made of them...
Nice write, Linda.

Jo ~
Did I ever tell you that a few weeks after I started seeing him, he had gone to a well-known psychic and he was told that he had the energy of the central star of Orion?!?
When he told me that, I nearly fell off of my chair! I had not told him of my experience with the shooting star!!!
Yes, our meeting was kismet!
May the stars guide you through all the nights of your days!
Hugs with much affection, Linda

(giggles) I wish they had a lovesick smiley-face heart, guess I'll have to ask Kit to make one, yay! LOL! This poem touched my heart ever so much as I am currently stargazing with God every night that a shooting star will come my way and collide with my heart and I will feel this wonderful love that I am so happy you have found and cherish, yay! (sigh) This is sooooooo celestially beautiful, sweet friend, may you and your love always sail on the abyss of Cygnus and beyond, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Noah, hmm, I've been trying to find a love-sick smiley, and this is the closest that I could find.
Oh, here's another one.
Oh, gosh! Now I'm getting sad too!
Okay! That's more like our usual selves! lol
To love & loving! Linda
