Photograph of a Woman

The photograph,
despite being black and white,
neither affirms nor denies
loose ends.
Grey in sufficient amount,
with the inevitable curves
taking up where stark leaves off
may account for this.
Eschewing, thus,
moral absolutes and the street
the woman seems to want
nothing.

Bob

I can almost see her, a simpler time, yes, where beauty was the natural curve of body and the eye of the beholder.  Enjoyed this!

The tone of this,
quiet, a private afterthought
of what one feels
in quiet embrace
of memories...

beautiful, Robert, as always!
