if you close your eyes
will I be the next door tree
with daddy branches

that fit your wanting to climb
close enough together
like wind with wind

so you can't fall in love
or even down unless pushed
by your own hands of mind

look up the length of me
at what I do to the sky
with the end of me

will you pretend with clouds
that you are the windows
that are are my mirrors

posing to know us as reflections
