Do brothers part in aging, and strangers make a greeting- as love is more than what it means yet still a heartbeat skips, When we see the one’s we miss- and childhood memories rush outwards drawing smells of daffodils and wonderment. Where did all those years go, beyond the yawning sun and woken moon- to a place not so far from heart to the bottom of our souls, and still we smile from time to time- on moments we only live again in mind upon the murmur of memories. Which tears shall I choose to cry, The ones of joy beyond all joy- or of the times that pain did happen in youth through mishaps and mistaken ventures, But when we tell those younger than ourselves- don’t we all without a fail Learn to smile again. |
