When I lost you, I thought in this way; so long as you were within sight, my heart ached after you, and when you were at a greater distance, I was able to imagine you close to myself; but when you were out of sight, I sensed my heart would recover a little. Would that my mind succeed my heart in the convincing! |

So often we promise ourselves that our heads will rule. Funny how they never do. Even funnier that we never learn that lesson. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
