Sempiternal Sentiments ~*Marge Tindal*~ Floodgates of the heart open pouring thoughts of loves of the past overrunning the banks of emotion obviously they are meant to last The smallest things of remember sometimes weigh the heaviest on the heart when loved ones have departed to the land beyond our human grasp~ All we have to hold dear are the memories planted when they were here In order to keep them alive still we must thumb through the memories at will~ Knowing that time in passing might purge them from our head we have to hold the repeat of who they were, what they did what they said before they were dead~ They go on foreverly sempiternal sentiments for sure reminding me that I must leave footprints for others to follow into the hollow of missing me long after I am gone gone ? but wait … I’m not going anywhere … No reservations … for the land beyond Yet … I know there waits for me those of my loving, just in case I should chance to come their way away from the earthly shell of me into the land of the yet-known yet, still yet … I know them I believe I would know this place when I step over coming face to face with a cherish of remember that lights my heart with glee one who went before me waiting … waiting waiting there for me~ Sempiternal … never-ending the duration of the eternal memory holds me to them … them to me for all the forever’s of eternity~ Hold the lifeline of remember in tightest clutch of memory that will serve us so well long, so very long after we come again to rest in someone else’s bank of memory giving thanks that we left coins of cherish that will not perish~ The beginning of you has no ending in me we circle together as we should do Sempiternal absolutely foreverly~ ~For Doreen Peri … because~ Word of the Day for Thursday October 6, 2005 sempiternal \sem-pih-TUR-nuhl\, adjective, Of neverending duration, having beginning but no end, everlasting, endless. ~*No matter what I search for ... let me know when it is LOVE that I find*~ <))>< Email - [email protected] |

smiling... Anything written for doreen is just alright with me. And yes, this brought an ache to my heart too, as I guess you know I lost my sister this past Easter. She had a severe storm phobia too. My family, in all their dark humor, now say that she simply "evacuated early." Thanks for this one as well Marge.  |

Friends~ So very often a piece flows so quickly to the page that it's simply impossible to stop the ink flow~ This was one of those happenings ... six to seven minutes ... no editing ... start to post~ I love it when that happens~ Reassures me that it is 'meant to be'~ To find that so many of you related harmoniously to the meanings you found in it is an unexpected blessing to me~ I actually sent this word to Doreen on the day I received it ... because it reminded me of her penchant for poetic 'rambling' ... (she KNOWS I say that with affection) ... LOL ... she 'threatened' to pen it .... if and when she found the time~ She didn't get to it ... but it summoned me ... and the rest is what you so graciously enjoyed reading~ Yeah ... Doreen liked it too~ Inspiration and *gifted* words are all I have to work with ... and for those things I feel so very blessed~ For the friendships of those who are in my circle of poetic friends ... I feel MORE than blessed~ Thank you ... thank you~ Now before this gets too very 'sempiternally sentimental'  ... I'm outta here~(It's contagious ...
