Did you hear he met a woman Younger than 45 That woman in the hotel is 1/4 of his age And those black glasses dont fool me Did you know he still has that old car And those old tyres And he has RX put on them To show he isn't passed it Did you know his temper He has to live upstairs To protect those in the house Did you know he never looks after himself He runs away all the time Packs his car when it's dark Comes back when it's dark Never speaks to me Did you know Dave |

~sigh~ I can read this in several ways, Dave. The portrait matches someone I've known suffering the onset of dementia. It also has its parallel to 'a dirty ol man' I had to live around many, many years ago. An interesting write m'friend. |
